This idea is a synthesis of many ideas, traditions, and whimsy.
With the goal of culturally transplanting the Seattle U-District tradition of the April Fool's Day Pageant--this event would leverage the unique forces and character of April Fool's Day to promote an environment of free expression, springtime affirmation and festive fun.
Some of the synthesis-rich ideas that influenced this springtime celebration:

As an informal all-day event at Academy Park, merely showing up to spectate or participate in whatever random foolishness is going on at whatever time of day is all it takes to experience this annual event. Whether anyone shows up or not...stuff happens.
